Experience
Jonathan’s journey into chiropractic started with a great love for sport. It was during his teenage years that Jonathan was confronted with several injury setbacks. These setbacks were the beginning of his interest into how the body adapts to stressors and given the right environment heals itself.

“I became interested in the biomechanics and physiology of the body. Why was I getting injured and by what processes do I heal?” It was questions like these that lead Jonathan down a path of healthcare and ultimately to chiropractic.

In his final year at university Jonathan was awarded the Sports Chiropractic Australia Graduate Award for outstanding active contribution to chiropractic care in the Victorian sporting community.

Beginning private practice in Langwarrin in 2015 and adding East Malvern in 2016 Jonathan is able to tailor his care to your own individual needs and preferences. Whether you prefer a physical manual approach, a gentle approach or a blend of many techniques, you can be confident that Jonathan will make you as comfortable as possible while delivering appropriate care.

With a background in sport it comes as no surprise that Jonathan has been looking after his local soccer team since the 2015 season and is currently engaging further in this passion by undertaking additional training in Sports Chiropractic.

Types of appointments available with Jonathan

Long appointment type 1 (30 minutes)

Initial consultation $90
This is a 30-minute appointment that involves a general history plus more specific questions about the main reason for your visit. This is followed by a thorough examination to provide a baseline level of body function. A chiropractic adjustment is generally provided on the first visit.

An initial consultation fee also applies if it has been longer than 2 years since your last visit.

Report of Findings $90
This is also a 30-minute consultation, where the findings of your initial visit are discussed and a treatment plan is recommended. A chiropractic adjustment is also provided on this visit.

Long appointment type 2 (30 minutes)

Review $70
Every 12 visits a re-evaluation is performed. This allows us to measure your progress, make adjustments to your chiropractic care and determine new goals.

Re-examination $70
This appointment is for patients who have previously had chiropractic care at Eat, Play, Thrive but who haven’t had an adjustment for over 6 months. It is a longer appointment and allows time to discuss any new conditions or changes to medical history.

Regular appointment

Standard Consultation $55
This is the regular 10-15 minute appointment offered at EPT and includes the chiropractic adjustment.

Family Rate $50
The family rate applies when two or more family members come to Eat Play Thrive for chiropractic adjustments on the same day.

Wellness Rate $50
The wellness rate applies to patients who want to book a regular appointment time each month to maintain their spinal alignment.
