Experience
Jacqui has worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist and qualified Coach for the past 30 years. She has worked in a variety of different settings including Mental Health, Community Health, Special Schools, Occupational Health & Safety and Early Childhood Intervention Services. She has also successfully ventured into Small Business and Private Practice Consulting.

Jacqui brings her personal experience of working as an Occupational Therapist to her coaching. She is highly regarded for her creative, engaging approach that supports people to get from where they are now, to where they want to be.

Jacqui has a keen interest in the strategies people employ to motivate themselves to achieve the outcomes they wish for, in their lives. She has extensively studied the theory and practice behind this aspect of human behavior. These insights have not only helped in working with others, it has also enabled her to successfully extend herself well beyond her comfort zone.

As an experienced clinical therapist, Jacqui understands the fear and opportunity associated with being outside of your comfort zone and that choosing to do nothing is a choice!

Jacqui is passionate about coaching and facilitating learning that sticks. She empowers people to take ownership of their own challenges which translates into the action needed to take it all the way to the finish line……and beyond!

Jacqui has a strong focus on spirituality, health and fitness as well as a sensitivity and empathy that makes her easy to talk to. She enjoys helping people to develop insight and discover who they are and how to live in keeping with their true essence.

Jacqui has a holistic and balanced approach to her life and her work and has made it her life passion to help others to do the same. Her well-developed creative and lateral thinking skills are ideal attributes to help people produce realistic and practical outcomes.

All Coaching sessions are 50 minutes in duration with an investment of $220:00 per session.

Medicare Funded Occupational Therapy Services

I am a registered Medicare provider. Medicare provides claim benefits for chronic medical conditions and for clients with complex care needs.

To be eligible for Medicare benefits, you will require a referral for Occupational Therapy services from your General Practitioner and our services must be part of an overall care plan. A gap payment will also be required.

At the conclusion of an appointment, I will report back to your GP to ensure adherence to your overall care plan.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Health Care Plan)

• Eligible individuals can access this through their GP
• 5 Occupational Therapy/Speech Pathology services per calendar year

• Medicare rebates of $52.95 per session available

Medicare focussed Psychological Strategies (Better Access Mental Health Care Plan)

• Individuals can access this through their GP
• 10 individual and 10 group Occupational Therapy sessions per calendar year with an approved provider (Jodie Heath)
• Further information regarding this care plan is available through contacting Medicare
• It is recommended that individuals contact Jacqui prior to going to their GP if planning to use this care plan for occupational therapy sessions
• Medicare rebates of $73.40 per session available

Private health insurance rebates for Occupational Therapy Services

If you have relevant extras cover, you may be eligible for a rebate through your private health fund. Please contact your health fund to confirm and we are very happy to supply your fund with the required information to streamline your claim.
