It was difficult not to feel inspired following Cadel’s epic performance in the tour! But today I am paying the price as I can hardly walk!! So if you are looking for a bit of a challenge, as I was yesterday, why not give these sessions a go… all in one day.

Morning session: Treadmill/strength session as follows

  • 9min jog warm-up

Main set

  • 1min effort run
  • 100 x high knee skips
  • 20 jumping squats
  • 15 push-ups
  • 10 jumping lunges
  • 5 burpess
  • 1min effort run
  • 8min jog recovery

Repeat x 4; followed by a cool down walk and stretch

Evening session:

  1. 45 minute Pilates class
  2. Run: 9km (this was my mode of transport home after finishing work last night)
  3. Eat!
  4. Get hubby to apply Spidertech to aching parts of body
  5. Sleep
