I’ve been very slack lately…
– Tour de France means late nights
– lots of weekend travel with work
– lack of uuummmph for some reason (late nights, early mornings – need more day time siestas)

If there’s an excuse I’ve either made it or heard it!

Excuses are made to be broken I say.

Time to Fire Up, break the negative cycle and have fun smashing myself in training.
A habit is going to need to be re-established to condition my body and keep me focused. There seems to be a wide range of ideas of how long it takes to establish and entrench habitual behaviors. The magic number seems to be 21 repetitions/days.

Just to make sure, I’m going to say 30.
So for the next 30 days, I (and hopefully Vicky and all of) will do the following without making excuses:
– Monday = Cardio + Strength (swim+run+Flowin for me)
– Tuesday = Cardio (ride+run for me)
– Wednesday = Cardio + Strength (ride+run+Flowin for me)
– Thursday = Cardio (ride for me)
– Friday = Cardio + Strength (swim for me)
– Saturday = Cardio (ride+run for me)
– Sunday = Cardio (ride for me)

Your cardio options…
– ride
– run
– swim
– zumba (or some other form of group exercise)

Your Strength options…
– Pilates
– weight training
– cross fit
– Flowin (available at Acacia Health)
