I needed a change in venue yesterday to spark up a flame of inspiration to workout. This park is special – it was the local training ground for running legend John Landy, the second man to break the 4 minute mile. There’s a small plaque at the edge of the oval in honour of him.

The session…

  1. Pull-ups switching grips
  2. Triceps extensions
  3. Hanging rows
  4. Decline push-ups

I started off with a 10 minute warm up, completed 10x repetitions of each exercise and repeated that 10x through. Finished off with a few stretches and a set of pistol squats (10x each leg, 5x sets).
